Title: Safety & Environmental Manager ? Camillus, NY
Job Summary:
The Safety & Environmental Manager is responsible for the leadership and technical management of all safety & environmental programs at the Camillus, NY facility. The manager is responsible for maintaining a safety focused culture as well as design, recommend and implement safety and health programs. This position will also lead compliance with all safety, health and environmental regulations. Salary is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop measures and practices that prevents incidents and ensures compliance with OSHA standards.
Lead culture change towards injury-free facility through training, employee engagement and rule compliance.
Leader of all safety training.
Maintain a working relationship with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Routinely audits facility for safe working conditions and procedures; initiates corrective action where appropriate.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
Must be highly safety conscious.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Knowledge of the industry.
Willing to work overtime as required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
