Title: Safety & Environmental Manager ? Camillus, NY
Job Summary:
_The Safety & Environmental Manager is responsible for the leadership and technical management of all safety & environmental programs at the Camillus, NY facility\._ _The manager is responsible for maintaining a safety focused culture as well as design, recommend and implement safety and health programs\._ _This position will also lead compliance with all safety, health and environmental regulations\._ _Salary is based on experience\._
Responsibilities:
_Develop measures and practices that prevents incidents and ensures compliance with OSHA standards\._
_Lead culture change towards injury\-free facility through training, employee engagement and rule compliance\._
_Leader of all safety training\._
_Maintain a working relationship with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies\._
_Routinely audits facility for safe working conditions and procedures; initiates corrective action where appropriate\._
_Perform other duties as required\._
Requirements:
_Must be highly safety conscious\._
_High School Diploma or equivalent\._
_Strong computer skills\._
Preferred Qualifications:
_Bachelor?s degree preferred\._
_Knowledge of the industry\._
_Willing to work overtime as required\._

Safety & Environmental Manager ? Camillus, NY
The opportunity:
Responsible for the leadership and technical management of all safety/environmental programs at plant\.Key leader in helping to maintain a safety focused culture\.Responsibility to design, modify, recommend and implement safety and environmental programs to assure a safe work environment\.Lead compliance with all applicable safety, health and environmental regulations\.Manage corporate requirements and audit processes\.
How you will impact WestRock:
Provide leadership in developing measures and practices that prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards\.Leads culture change towards injury\-free facility through leadership, increasing employee engagement, effective training and coaching, on the floor interactions and rule compliance\.Provide effective leadership and guidance in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: machine guarding, Lock Out/Tag Out systems, fork lift training, hot work procedures, contractor training, facility safety communication, Hazcom training, confined space training, process safety management, fall protection\.Interface with Corporate Safety & Environmental team and provide necessary reports, audit follow\-ups etc\.Plans and executes industrial hygiene and safety programs including procedure development and employee training\.Identifies problems or needs; gathers technical, cost or other relevant information; makes verbal and written reports/recommendations to senior management\.Maintains a working relationship with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies\.Ensures follow\-up on all incidents or near\-miss reports, including recommended remedial action as part of the investigative team\.Serves as the primary contact for OSHA inspections; takes charge of inspection activities, makes corporate notifications and accompanies OSHA inspectors on their tours of the plant\. Routinely audits the facility for safe working conditions and procedures; initiates corrective action where appropriate\.Coordinate with HR in workers compensation case management\.Other duties as required\.
What you need to succeed:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor?s degree is preferred\.Experience as a safety professional administering health, safety and environmental strategies and programs in a manufacturing operation\.Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations\. Ability to assign priorities in a fast\-paced and changing environment\.Must be able to make effective oral presentations to a wide range of audiences\.Confident in presenting training on various safety topics\.Ability to communicate with all employees and effectively lead and direct others\.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
